Four Winds Interactive (FWi), a digital
signage software and services provider, has partnered with the JW Marriott
San Antonio to develop a unique digital signage system for their property. With over 125 digital signs, the JW
Marriott is taking advantage of several popular features and applications
including meeting room signage throughout their conference space, property
mapping, event list integration, local area wayfinding,
guest room TV, and virtual concierge.
Blending multiple elements allows the resort to connect with their
guests in a unique and innovative fashion, while creating a model that puts
them ahead of the curve in guest communication.
Ross Bernstein, VP of Hospitality Sales at FWi, commented on
the install at the JW Marriott, “Working with the team from Marriott, Miller
Global and Noble Development on the digital signage system for the JW Marriott
San Antonio was a great experience.
The installation is a testament to the innovative mentality of the team
behind the signage and more specifically the direction in which digital signage
is moving within the hospitality industry. ”
Working closely with the team from JW Marriott San Antonio,
FWi was able to develop two new hospitality digital signage applications,
Interactive Vacation Concierge and Interactive Call to Action. Interactive Vacation Concierge enables
the hotel concierge staff to provide the guest information on local events and
attractions, assisting them with their vacation planning. The Interactive Call to Action
application was designed to give the guest a convenient option to contact a
property team member directly from a digital sign outside their meeting room.
